Unibabies & Unitots

Infants through Preschoolers

Unibabies and Unitots provides a safe, clean and positive daycare experience during Sunday church services.

The children are provided rudimentary education in support of Unity teachings (not doctrine or dogma).

Unikids

Kindergarteners – 5th Graders

Unikids receive instruction and life lessons in support of New Thought, Practical Christianity and Unity Teachings, and provide positive support and encouragement in the exploration of positive life lessons. We are here to guide the children and youth on their journey of spiritual unfoldment and to help them to recognize their own Divinity. In the words of Unity Co-Founder Myrtle Fillmore, “We are here not to entertain the children, but to call them out.”

Uniteens

6th – 8th Graders

Uniteens come together to learn Unity Principles & how to apply them, share fellowship in a safe, spiritually based environment, and to be supported in their spiritual growth & development.

Sunday Lessons

On Sundays Uniteens meet to explore truth & its application in their lives through a meaningful Sunday lesson. This includes prayer, meditation, Scripture & activities related to the Sunday lesson. Social & Service gatherings are planned for friendship, group building & to raise the consciousness of selfless giving.

Social, Service & Retreats

In addition to the Sunday morning spiritual experience and lesson, there are planned social activities, fun outings, service projects & regional retreats. The events & activities outside of regular Sunday meetings help bond the group & provide opportunities to practice & apply spiritual principles to daily lives.

Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.)

9th – 12th Graders

Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.) provides settings in which the principles of Practical Christianity, as taught by Unity, are brought into interaction with life situations through experiential, synergistic learning experiences applicable to daily life. The goal is to provide opportunities for youths to express the spiritually abundant life as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, the Christ.

Some functions of the YOU chapter are to:

  • Provide a weekly opportunity to explore a concept in Truth.

  • Provide an environment of security and safety for the sharing and exploration of feelings.

  • Create an atmosphere of total acceptance to help young people establish their own identity, self-worth and confidence, and a feeling of “belonging.”

  • Help young people explore and seek a set of values FOR THEMSELVES.

  • Help students define THEIR OWN purpose for living and develop a method of finding answers to life’s complexities.

  • Help students develop a sense of interdependence through working together in a supportive, non-critical environment.

  • Introduce new ways of communicating with self and others based on the principles of affirmation, denials and beholding the Christ in all people and situations.

  • Expose the YOUers to their own personal power through creative self-expression and service activities.
